Not with a big business plan. Not with a catalogue full of products. But with a simple love for suits — and the thought that finding something beautiful shouldn't always mean looking in the same places.
Looking Beyond the Usual
India has an incredible variety of fabrics, colours, crafts and techniques. Sometimes you find something beautiful in a familiar place. Sometimes, you have to look a little harder.
And that is what we enjoy doing.
We travel, explore and look for fabrics and designs from different parts of India. We spend time looking at colours, textures, prints, embroidery and the small details that can turn an ordinary suit into something you want to keep reaching for.
There are plenty of choices available today. But having more choices doesn't always make choosing easier.
We wanted to do the looking for you.
Not Just For One Kind of Woman
A suit can be many things.

The Beauty Is In The Details
We pay attention to the things that are easy to overlook.
How does the fabric feel?
Does the colour look as good in person as it did when we first saw it?
Is the embroidery interesting without being too much?
Would you want to wear it again?
These are the questions that guide us when we select a piece.
We don't want to add something simply because there is space in the collection. If a fabric, design or detail doesn't excite us, it doesn't make the cut.
And sometimes, the simplest suit ends up being the one we love the most.
A Small Beginning
The Suit Chapter By Shimona is still a growing story.
We are starting with a carefully curated collection, but there is much more we want to explore — more fabrics, more colours, more techniques, more designs and, hopefully, many more pieces that make you stop and think:

Because ultimately, that is what we are looking for.
